Mom and Her Gifts
Mom celebrated her birthday last Monday and she had a small birthday party for closest friends and family. It was fun and obviously, mom had a great time. One thing, I particularly noticed is the fact that she received so many gifts! If you could only see her room, it was like a stock room of gifts.
Mom is a friendly type of person and in her profession as a nurse, she has helped so many people. She said that many of her previous patients remember her birthday and they managed to send in their gifts.
It was definitely touching to be remembered by people that you once knew. Mom clearly feels happy with all the gifts and greetings that she received for her birthday.
I am also glad that she loved the gift that I made for her. I made a collage of family pictures since I had a difficult time thinking of the best present for mom this year. Good thing she is very easy to please and she loves it.

Holiday Cottages UK are fantastic and are a really great way of spending time with your family and friends. I really enjoyed my experiences at a holiday cottage when I went for New Years Eve last year. It was utterly fantastic. We had this five bedroom barn conversion and small cottage we all stayed. There were twenty of us in total. On New Years Eve we spent most of the day in the local town, buying some supplies and generally seeing what it had to offer. We then went to the beach and took lots of pictures. By about 8pm we went back to the cottage and barn and began making lots of food and getting everything ready for the night. Everyone got dressed up and wore crazy outfits! We played games, sang songs and stayed up all night ringing in the new year; I don’t think I single person went to bed until around 10 on new years day.
